Since the Trump administration cruelly terminated the DACA program in September 2017, Sara Mora has stood up as an activist and a leader for young people who are beneficiaries of the DREAM act. In addition to being an organizer and leading voice for immigration reform in New Jersey. She has met with New Jersey Senators Cory Booker and Bob Menendez and was invited to lead the pledge of allegiance at the inauguration of Governor Phil Murphy of New Jersey.  has given speeches and lead marches on more than a dozen occasions and has published acclaimed articles that continue to shape the debate on the DREAM Act, both in New Jersey and nationally. She is a much sought after speaker at immigrant rights events and has built a broad network of allies. As a part of her work, Sara has coordinated social media campaigns to craft nuanced and powerful messaging during the DREAM Act fight.

A DACA recipient herself, Sara has been a model for many young people who are facing one of the most uncertain and frightening times in their lives. She has mentored youth, given presentations to hundreds of high school students on community organizing, college access and immigrant rights issues and has motivated countless others to join the immigrant rights movement.

In May 2017, Sara Mora obtained her International Relations A.A and is preparing to enroll in the Political Science program at Rutgers Newark in Fall 2018.
